Join us in welcoming Samantha St. John, our new Education Coordinator!

A lifelong resident of Miami County, Indiana, Samantha joins us after nearly 20 years as Executive Director for Miami County Recycling District. During her time as Executive Director at Miami County Recycling District, she enjoyed creating marketing materials, including print and radio ads.

I’m excited for this opportunity to branch out and do something different. I would have loved to do more in Miami County, but there was too much work to be done with such a small office. In this position with Howard County Recycling District, I look forward to bringing my years of experience to help educate people, groups, and organizations in Howard County.

Samantha has experienced the changes, evolution, and growth of recycling over many years, and she’s excited to share those experiences and current best practices with the Howard County community.

She is married and has four kids and two granddaughters.
