The Howard County Recycling District along with Community Howard, DEA, Kokomo Police, Howard County Sheriff's Department and Walgreens will be accepting your controlled and non controlled medications for proper disposal - No questions asked. We cannot accept Aerosol, Liquids or sharps at this event. At this event we can accept from residents from inside or outside of Howard County - NO Doctor, Dentist or Pharmacies. This event will be at the Community Howard Surgery Center on 931 at the Circle Drive on Saturday October 26 from 10AM until 2PM. Call 765-456-2274 for more questions.

The Yard Waste Recycling Center is OPEN hours are Monday - Friday 9 to 4 and Saturdays 8 to 1 CLOSED Sundays and Holidays. Any logs brought in will need to be no longer than 6 foot in length and no more than 30" in diameter. The attendant on duty will refuse logs larger than the required size and request individuals/businesses/municipalities to cut them down before dropping at the facility.

Starting February 1, 2017 there will be a $5.00 per item disposal cost on all televisions, computer monitor or any item which has a visual screen. If you have questions please call our office at 765-456-2274

1701 N. Market Street in Kokomo has 24 hour access for your convenience to recycle your household items such as paper, glass, metal and plastic. The remaining recycling drop off locations are picked up multiple times a week - If you happen to see that a location in full please call our office at 765-456-2274 and let us know.
